If you’ve seen the Air Up water bottle on social media, you may already know that it’s a water bottle that utilizes flavor pods to enhance the taste of your water without actually adding any flavoring to the water itself.

How long does 1 air up pod last?
How long do Air Up pods last? The company claims that each pod works for about 1.3 gallons of water. Air Up also recommends that you check the “best before” date on each pod since the scent may fade over time and is best when fresh.
How does air up work?
What makes Air Up work is a phenomenon called retronasal perception. Jüngst explained it this way: Scent molecules are broken down in the mouth when a person eats or drinks. They then travel up into the brain’s olfactory center, where it is perceived as taste.
Are air ups healthy?
As long as the air up®️ drinking system is filled with potable water and the pods are used as intended, most people can use it safely.
Can you reuse air up pods?
The short answer is, no. air up® pods are not designed to be refilled or altered. The flavors of our pods are designed to be used exclusively with the air up® drinking system. We use food-grade, natural flavors here at air up®.
Why does my air up bottle make noise?
Those air bubbles are the “scent transmitters” that help you taste the flavor of your pod. The air bubbles also make a slight noise, which you’ll soon forget about when you realize how tasty your water has become!
Can you drink an air up bottle without a pod?
It’s more than you would probably spend on a water bottle, but as I’ve discovered, kids happily accept them as a present. Also, the bottle obviously works without the pods too, so if, after a while you just want to use it as a standard water bottle you can.
Is my air up supposed to bubble?
With our bottle, it’s totally normal for small air bubbles to be included with each sip. These air bubbles carry the flavour from your pod and enable your brain to experience the scent as taste, all without anything being physically added to your water!

If you have purchased on the air up®️ website and would like to make a return, a refund can be issued within 30 days of delivery. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and we do not currently offer exchanges.
