Can I activate a phone myself?
Although the specific steps vary from device to device, generally, you need to insert the SIM card, power on the device, and follow the on-screen prompts to set it up. If you are activating a new phone, you may also need to activate the SIM card with your carrier.
Can I just switch my Cricket SIM card to new phone?
Yes, as long as the SIM cards are the same size. Just switch them out and you should be good to go. It will work but be advised, they will lock your new phone to Cricket even if you did not buy it from them.
