Activate your phone by going to My Account. Go to Assurancewireless.com and login to My Account. If you see Activate Now/Activate Phone, click it and follow the onscreen instructions. If not, go to Swap/Update Phone, click on it, and follow the onscreen instructions.

What is my Assurance Wireless account number and PIN?

Call Assurance Wireless at 1-(888)-898-4888 to access your account number. Your PIN is the 6-digit (or 10-digit) number you created, which is located on your welcome letter. Your account number can be found in the top right corner of any bill or by logging into your online account. Do not enter any dashes or hyphens.

Can I put my Assurance Wireless SIM card in another phone?

If you have an Assurance Wireless SIM card, it is typically tied to a specific phone that was provided to you through the program. In most cases, Assurance Wireless SIM cards are locked to the device they were initially activated with, which means they cannot be easily used in another phone.

Why is SIM not activated?

You should also check if there’s any dust or grime inside the SIM card slot because it can interfere with the connection. Use a can of compressed air to blow into the slot and clear any debris. You can also use a clean piece of microfiber cloth to wipe the SIM card’s contacts.

Can I activate my SIM card on another phone?

Can you just swap SIM cards between phones? Yes, you can switch SIM cards between phones as long as they are compatible with the same carrier network. Your SIM card should also be compatible with the new phone in terms of size (micro, nano, and standard size).

Can we activate SIM after deactivation?

Once the sim is deactivated, the same number is recycled and becomes available in the market for a new user. In case you forgot about your secondary sim, and it has been 90 days of non-usage, do not worry! You still get a grace period of 15 days (about 2 weeks) to reactivate your sim.

How do you check if number is active or not?

Active numbers can be reached when you call them, typically these numbers will either be answered or will go to a voicemail or continue to ring, text messages sent to numbers that are active will be marked as Delivered.
